Here are some photos of Yakutia. Yakutia is the largest region in Russia and also the coldest, containing both Verkhoyansk and Oimyakon, both of which have claimed the record as the 'Pole of Cold' (the coldest inhabited place on Earth) in the past. Oimyakon is the current holder.
